Day 3 of building Scout to 1,000 users by the end of summer. Click here if you missed Day 1 yesterday.
1) Signups
We're at 112 signups today, no new ones since yesterday. Still A/B testing our landing page to optimize conversions (traffic looks good)
Good news: One of our existing users upgraded to a paid subscription! That tells me more than a raw signup does - a signup is curiosity, a paid upgrade is someone using it enough to put money behind it. validation.
2) What I’m Working On
We shipped a big update today, and honestly the results are a LOT better.
First, Scout can now find you creators from just your brand website, so you paste your URL and it goes.
Second, we added a planning mode: before it searches, it asks you a few questions to clarify what you're actually looking for, which has made the initial results way more meaningful (see below):
It also explains itself better as it works now, so you can watch it searching topics, narrowing by subscriber count, checking sponsor history, and scoring each creator. It feels conversational.
Honestly very pleasant to use- and feedback has been great (searches that used to perform really poorly now do extremely well)
3) The Ask
Builder friends: what's a feature you shipped that actually changed how people used your product? Not just something you launched, something that moved behavior. LMK by replying!
Peace,
Ramsey
